Rosebud Psychotherapy

Therapy for Women Who Do It All — And Feel It All

You don't have to choose between being capable and being cared for.

A female therapist with long light brown hair and earrings, sitting on steps outside a building, smiling at the camera. She is wearing a green and blue relaxed plaid blazer, a mauve tank top, and blue jeans. She is smiling warmly at the camera.

Welcome! I’m Maggie.

I offer therapy that helps you soften and slow down without collapsing.

My pronouns are she/her/hers.

I work with women who are tired of managing themselves, their relationships, and everyone else’s emotions.

My approach is relational, compassionate, and practical. We look at how anxiety, people-pleasing, and perfectionism developed — and gently untangle them so you can feel more grounded, connected, and at ease in your life.

This work often includes:

  • learning how to set boundaries without shame

  • understanding your nervous system and stress responses

  • practicing self-compassion instead of self-criticism

  • exploring relationship patterns that keep you stuck in emotional labor and over-functioning

There’s no pressure in my office to perform, “do therapy right,” or fix yourself.

This is therapy for those women who hold the world together but in doing so often neglect themselves. It’s time to get grounded and bloom.

Therapy for Anxiety, People-Pleasing, and Over-Functioning Women in Georgia

You might be in the right place if:

  • You’re capable, thoughtful, and responsible — and totally overwhelmed

  • You anticipate other people’s needs before your own

  • You struggle to rest without guilt or anxiety

  • You feel pressure to hold everything together, even when you’re exhausted

  • You’ve been told you’re “too hard on yourself,” “too sensitive,” or that you “overthink,” but it feels deeper than that

Ways to Work Together

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a space to slow down, understand your patterns, and practice relating to yourself with more care and less pressure.

I work best with women who are reflective, curious, and ready to move beyond just coping toward deeper change.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is a core part of my work and often the most powerful place for healing patterns like people-pleasing, perfectionism, and emotional over-responsibility.

Being in a room with others who carry similar weight — and learning you don’t have to hold it alone — can be profoundly relieving.

Premarital / Pre-Commitment Counseling

I offer secular, thoughtful premarital and pre-commitment counseling for couples who want to build a strong foundation before marriage or long-term commitment.

This work focuses on communication, emotional responsibility, boundaries, and navigating stress as a team — not just preparing for a wedding.
