Whatever brought you here—welcome. I'm Maggie Malone (she/her), a licensed clinical social worker, and the founder of Rosebud Psychotherapy. I’m really glad you’re here.

If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or like you’ve been performing "okay-ness" for a long time—this is a space where you don't have to do that. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or clinical to be effective. My goal is to create a space that feels safe enough to show up as you are—messy parts, big feelings, awkward pauses, goofy jokes, and all.

Whether you’re an over-functioning people-pleaser, a recovering perfectionist, a burnout-hardened high achiever, or someone navigating complex relationships and emotions—I’m here to help you reconnect with your values, your boundaries, and your Self. You’re in the right place.

My Approach to Therapy

I draw from evidence-based modalities like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindful Self-Compassion, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)—but more than anything, I believe therapy is a collaborative relationship.

We’ll work together to notice the patterns that no longer serve you, gently shift the ones we can, and build practical tools to help you ride out the waves of life without losing yourself in the process. You don’t need to be “fixed”—but you do deserve support, clarity, and space to grow.

My Guiding Values

Compassion

Authenticity

Social Justice

Empowerment

Humor

As a cisgender, white woman who is (mostly) able-bodied, I hold a deep awareness that my own identities and privileges shape how I move through the world—and how I show up in this work. I’m committed to practicing from an intersectional feminist, anti-oppressive, social justice-informed lens, and I’m always doing my own personal and professional unlearning.

I welcome clients of all identities and backgrounds and strive to make therapy a space where you feel seen and respected—especially if you've ever felt like a misfit, a helper who’s never asked for help, or someone who's always been "the strong one."

We Might Be a Good Fit, If . . .

  • You want a therapist who is relational, honest, and a little bit nerdy.

  • You’re tired of people-pleasing and are ready to explore boundaries—even if they feel scary.

  • You’re not looking for a quick fix, but you are looking for real tools and gentle accountability.

  • You want a space that affirms your identities and honors both your pain and your power.

  • You’ve tried “just thinking positively” and are ready to go deeper than that.

  • You value authenticity, softness, humor, and social justice—all wrapped into your healing work.
