Helping Women Break Free from Anxiety, People-Pleasing & Perfectionism

Learn to give yourself permission to show up to your life in a freer, more authentic way

You Deserve More In Life Than Just Getting By

You’re the one everyone counts on. At work, at home, in your relationships—you show up, handle things, and keep the peace.

On the outside, you look like you have it all together. But inside? You’re exhausted. Stressed. Overwhelmed.

You say yes when you want to say no. You worry about disappointing people. You replay conversations in your head, wondering if you said the wrong thing. The thought of putting yourself first feels selfish—but deep down, you know something has to change.

You Don’t Have to Keep Holding It Together Alone

Underneath the overthinking and perfectionism is a fear you’ve carried for a long time. Maybe you grew up in a family where emotions weren’t safe, where love felt conditional, or where you had to be the responsible one.

Now, as an adult, that same fear keeps you stuck—afraid to set boundaries, afraid to fail, afraid you’re somehow "too much" or "not enough."

But the truth is you are enough. And you don’t have to do this alone.

Therapy That Helps You Feel Lighter, Freer & More Yourself

At Rosebud Psychotherapy, I help women like you—driven, thoughtful, and deeply caring—learn how to quiet the inner critic, set boundaries without guilt, and finally put yourself on your own priority list.

Together, we’ll work through the patterns keeping you stuck, so you can:

  • Stop overthinking and second-guessing yourself

  • Feel more confident in your relationships

  • Let go of guilt and say no without anxiety

  • Heal from the past and create a life that feels good for you

Hi, I’m Maggie, a women’s therapist and anxiety specialist.

(she/her/hers)

I use a compassionate, practical approach—blending mindfulness, self-compassion, and effective therapy tools to help you untangle the old beliefs and fears that no longer serve you. Together, we’ll explore where these patterns started, how they show up in your life today, and what you can do to shift them—so you can finally feel lighter, freer, and more like yourself.

This Is Your Time to Grow

You don’t have to keep living in survival mode. You don’t have to keep people-pleasing your way through life, hoping to finally feel good enough. Healing is possible. Change is possible. And you are absolutely worthy of both.

Private Pay Therapy

My practice uses the private pay model, meaning I do not take insurance. I do provide superbills you can submit for Out of Network Reimbursement. The private-pay therapy model is designed to prioritize your needs and your healing without the constraints that insurance often places on mental health services. Here, you’ll experience therapy that is entirely focused on what you need to grow, with the freedom to work together at a pace that suits you and the flexibility to truly tailor our sessions.

Choosing private-pay therapy is a powerful investment in your mental health, offering benefits that go beyond immediate relief. It allows you to be an active partner in your therapeutic journey, setting meaningful goals and diving deep into lasting change. With private-pay, you avoid limitations on session frequency, diagnoses, and privacy concerns. This is your space to uncover, process, and reclaim the parts of yourself that have been working tirelessly to keep everything together, and here, you’ll learn how to flourish without the weight of burnout or people-pleasing.

In-Person in Marietta.

Feeling like you’re carrying too much on your own? Want to feel more connected and get new perspectives?
Group therapy could be exactly what you need.

Picture a space where you can connect with others who get it, who understand the pressures of high expectations and the desire to feel “enough.” In a small, supportive group, you’ll find community, validation, and insights you may never find in individual therapy alone.

Together, we’ll explore boundaries, authentic connection, and how to navigate life’s ups and downs with more self-compassion and ease. These groups are structured to help you grow in ways that only a collective, shared experience can offer—because sometimes, it really helps to know you’re not alone.

Rosebud Psychotherapy is an anti-racist, trans-inclusive, LGTBTQ+ allied and affirming, Health at Every Size, neurodivergent-affirming, and feminist practice.

I believe we cannot address someone’s mental health without also taking into account the different societal stressors and oppressive structures that may be contributing to what brings them to therapy.

  • Struggling with racing thoughts? Find yourself spiraling with worries? Often feel nervous or on edge? Tend to question and “overthink” things? You don’t have to continue that way. Therapy can help. Learn more.

  • Have unrealistic expectations for yourself that leave you exhausted and perpetually disappointed? Struggle with self-criticism and self-doubt? Feeling overwhelmed and unfulfilled? Never feel “enough” and rarely put yourself first? Are you ready to let go of all the pressure and find more peace and satisfaction? Learn more.

  • Not sure your relationship with alcohol or another substance is “healthy” or safe? Have others been expressing concerns about your drinking? Do you feel you don’t know how to cope with difficult emotions without the help of a substance? Learn more.

  • Do you feel a constant pressure to do better and succeed because anything less feels like failure? Do you put off trying new things because you’re scared you won’t be immediately good at them? In therapy, we learn to move past this intense pressure to work harder and learn how to slow down, embrace progress over perfection, and feel more satisfaction with your achievements. Learn to measure your success not by the absence of flaws but by the presence of growth, resilience, and authentic satisfaction.
