You’re tired of feeling like everyone else got a manual you didn’t.
You know how to hold it together. You know how to show up for other people, manage the worry so nobody else has to see it, and push through even when you’re running on empty.
But privately? You’re exhausted. You overthink everything. You replay conversations. You feel guilty for having needs at all… and then resentful that no one seems to notice them.
You’ve talked about it in individual therapy. You understand the patterns. But something is still stuck.
That’s exactly what this group is for.
The Process Group for Women with Anxiety isn’t about being taught how to be less anxious. It’s about finally being in a room (even a Zoom room) where you don’t have to explain yourself, translate yourself, or hold yourself back.
You get to practice new skills and patterns, in real time, with real women who actually get it.

What is a women’s process group?
A process group is a form of therapy that focuses on relationships, emotional experiences, and patterns that show up in real time within the group.
Rather than following a rigid curriculum, this group emphasizes:
emotional awareness
honest communication
connection and belonging
noticing how you relate to others
practicing new ways of showing up
Many women find that process groups are especially helpful for confidence and self-esteem because change happens through being seen, understood, and supported by others.

Well, first off - that tracks! You probably found my website because you already deal with some anxiety. But secondly, it’s completely normal for anyone to be nervous about joining a group. It’s something new and different, which can be intimidating. Most of the women who join this group come in with those nerves and questions about how others may perceive them or fear of “not doing it right.” So, I can’t (and don’t want to) get rid of your nerves, but I do want to remind you that you’ll get to know me first and I’ll be with you in the group. I’ll always respect your autonomy and will never force you to share anything you don’t want to share. The group is intentionally small, and we don’t feel like strangers for long. And being nervous can be a sign that you’re being brave and getting out of your comfort zone, which is where we really grow.
So please reach out for a phone consultation if you’re feeling unsure, and we can talk through your nerves and questions before you commit to anything. -
Group therapy helps build confidence by offering lived relational experiences, not just insight.
In group, you can:
receive feedback that challenges harsh self-perceptions
notice how others experience you (often more positively than expected)
practice expressing needs and boundaries
reduce shame through shared experiences
develop a stronger, more compassionate relationship with yourself
For many women, confidence grows through connection — not self-improvement.

Sessions are structured but flexible. A typical group may include:
a brief check-in
open discussion based on what members are experiencing
therapist facilitation to support safety, insight, and emotional depth
space for reflection and processing
There is no pressure to perform or share perfectly. You’re encouraged to participate at a pace that feels manageable.

Group members agree to confidentiality, and clear group norms are established to support emotional safety. As with all therapy, there are limits to confidentiality related to safety, which are reviewed during the intake process.

Spots in this group are limited intentionally to create more depth and safety. If you’ve been sitting with the idea of joining, this is your nudge to reach out and at least chat.
The phone consultation is low-pressure. You can fill out the interest form below, and we’ll schedule a brief consultation to make sure the group feels like a good fit for you (and for the group). No commitment required.
If you have questions first, wonderful! Please send me an email or give me a call.
